Your Stretching Routine
Follow these steps every time you go up a size
Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water.
Clean your taper, plug, or tunnel with warm water and mild soap.
Apply 2–3 drops of jojoba oil to your earlobe and to the taper.
Insert the thin end of the taper into your piercing and slide it through slowly with steady, light pressure.
Once the taper is fully through, line up the matching plug behind it and push it in as you slide the taper out from the front.
Secure the plug with the included O-ring.
Leave the new plug in for at least 4–6 weeks before stretching to the next size.
Daily aftercare between sizes
Apply jojoba oil to your lobes once or twice a day. Gently massage the oil into the skin around the plug to keep your lobes soft, flexible, and well-hydrated. Healthy lobes stretch more easily and recover faster.
Important rules
Never skip sizes. Always stretch one size at a time in order. Wait a minimum of 4–6 weeks between stretches. Mild pressure is normal. Sharp pain, blood, or tearing is not. If you feel pain, stop immediately and downsize.
Stretching takes months. Patience protects your lobes. If your lobes are red, swollen, or sore, return to the previous size and let them heal before trying again.
What Is in Your Kit
Your 54-piece kit includes everything you need to stretch from 14G all the way up to 12mm (1/2 inch). Each size includes the tools to stretch and the jewelry to wear during the healing period.
Acrylic Tapers with O-Rings

Tapers are the cone-shaped tools that gradually widen from a thin tip to the target gauge size. They are stretching tools, not jewelry. Insert the thin end into your piercing and slide it through until the thicker end is flush with your lobe. Once in place, immediately follow with a plug and remove the taper.
Acrylic Single Flare Plugs with O-Rings
Matches taper sizes • 00G plugs and 14G earrings included
Single flare plugs have a slight lip on one side and a smooth flat end on the other. After sliding the taper through, push the plug in from behind — lip side facing inward — and secure it with an O-ring on the outside. These are your everyday wear pieces during the 4–6 week healing period between stretches.
Double Flare Silicone Tunnels
8G • 6G • 4G • 2G • 0G • 00G • 12mm
Double flare tunnels have a flared rim on both sides that holds them in place without an O-ring. They are flexible, lightweight, and comfortable for long-term daily wear. Only use double flare tunnels in fully healed, well-established stretches. The flared rim requires the stretch to be settled before insertion.
Jojoba Oil (5ml)
USDA Organic cold-pressed jojoba oil. Lubricates stretches and hydrates lobes daily.
How to use
- Place 2–3 drops on your fingertips
- Massage the oil into your earlobe and around the piercing
- Use it as a lubricant before inserting tapers, plugs, or tunnels to reduce friction and make the stretch smoother
- Apply daily even when you are not actively stretching to maintain lobe elasticity and skin health
- A few drops are enough per application — one bottle lasts a long time
About this product

How long should I wait between sizes?
+A minimum of 4–6 weeks between every stretch. Some people need longer, especially at larger sizes. Your lobes need time to heal and rebuild tissue at the new diameter before they are ready for more pressure. Rushing causes thinning, blowouts, and permanent damage.
How do I know I am ready for the next size?
+Your current jewelry should move freely without resistance. Your lobes should feel completely comfortable, with no soreness, redness, or tightness. If anything feels off, wait longer. There is no prize for stretching fast.
Is stretching supposed to hurt?
+No. Mild pressure and a warm sensation are normal during a stretch. Sharp pain, burning, blood, or tearing means you are forcing it. Stop immediately and go back to the previous size. Pain is your body telling you to slow down.
What is a blowout and how do I avoid it?
+A blowout is when the inside of your piercing pushes outward and forms a ring of scar tissue on the back of your lobe. It happens from stretching too fast, skipping sizes, or using jewelry that is too large. Avoid it by following the 4–6 week rule, never skipping sizes, and downsizing immediately if you feel pain.
Can I skip sizes if I am stretching slowly?
+No. Even with long wait times, skipping sizes forces your lobes to stretch too far at once. This causes thinning and blowouts. Always go up one size at a time in order.
When can I switch from plugs to tunnels?
+Once your stretch is fully healed and well-established, usually several months at the same size. Double flare tunnels are not for fresh stretches. The flared rim requires a settled, comfortable stretch to insert safely.
How often should I apply the jojoba oil?
+Once or twice a day for daily maintenance. Always apply it before a stretching session as a lubricant. Healthy, well-hydrated lobes stretch more easily and are less likely to tear.
Can I take my plugs out at this size?
+At smaller sizes (under 0G), your stretch can shrink quickly if you leave the jewelry out. Always have a plug or tunnel in place. At larger sizes, stretches become more permanent but can still shrink. If you want the option to close the stretch later, stop at 0G or smaller.
What should I do if my lobe is red, sore, or swollen?
+Downsize to the previous gauge immediately and let your lobe heal completely before trying again. Apply jojoba oil daily to support recovery. If the irritation gets worse, develops discharge, or you see signs of infection, contact a piercing professional.
Can I use other oils or lubricants instead?
+Stick to jojoba oil or a dedicated stretching balm. Avoid petroleum jelly, lotions with fragrance, or kitchen oils. These can clog pores, trap bacteria, or irritate the skin.
